Happy Birthday - Pope Benedict XVI

Joseph Alois Ratzinger was born on April 16, 1927 in Marktl am Inn, Bavaria, Germany; so he completes today 80 years old. He adopted the papal name of Benedict XVI (Benedictus XVI in latin, Bento XVI in Portuguese) after his election two years ago. Pope Benedict XVI has invited dozens of cardinals to a lunch at the Vatican this Monday to mark his 80th birthday while a museum is to open in Germany in the house where Joseph Ratzinger was born.
