Hall). Hilary Swank received the award for Best Actress in "Boys Don’t Cry". Warren Beatty was presented with the Irving Thalberg Award for his career as a movie-maker. The beautiful, Angelina Jolie, received the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in "Girl, Interrupted". Michael Caine who won the award for Best Supporting Actor "The Cider House Rules", gave the most beautiful acceptance speech of the night.
