The 10 Best movies of 2007


The American Film Institute unveiled on December 16th the 10 Most Outstanding Motion Pictures and TV programs of the year.

The jury for the movies was composed by the following notables: Sydney Pollack (director, producer, actor), Fred Pierson (writer, artistic director), Leonard Maltin (Entertainment Tonight) and Lawerance Kasdan (writer, director, producer).

And the movies chosen were:

Before the devil knows you're dead - Sydney Lumet
The diving bell and the butterfly - Julian Schnabel
Into the wild - Sean Penn
Juno - Jason Reitman
Knocked Up - Judd Apatow
Michael Clayton - Tony Gilroy
No Country for Old men - Ethan Coen and Joel Coen
Ratatouille - Brad Bird
The Savages - Tamara Jenkins
There will be blood - Paul Thomas Anderson
