Sep. 1 - Spring Day in South Africa

Spring is in the air. September 1 is celebrated as Spring Day in South Africa. To celebrate I offer to all my South-African visitors this flower.

I want also to inform that in Johannesburg take place the Arts Alive Festival (1 September - 30 September 2007). This month long festival marks the beginning of Spring. The festivities include theater performances, music, dance and more. The festival was started in 1991 and has become one the of the leading festivals in South Africa.
