On this day in 1915 in Hoboken, New Jersey was born Francis Albert Sinatra. He received numerous awards for his career as singer and actor. Considered as one of the most important, popular and influential musical figures of the 20th century, he has sold over 250 million records worldwide.

He was married four times. He was married four times. Some of the 20th century beauties were married or in some way involved with him: Ava Gardner, Lauren Bacall, Mia Farrow ...

He died in Los Angeles (Sinai Medical Center) on 14th May 1998.
