Euro 2008: Poland - Dudek dropped by Beenhakker

Liverpool goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek has been dropped by Poland coach Leo Beenhakker for the Euro 2008 qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Portugal. Dudek started Poland's 3-1 defeat to Finland earlier this month, but Beenhakker has now decided that he is not even worth a place in his 22-man squad. The 33-year-old has been kept out of the Liverpool side by Jose Reina this season. Celtic shot-stopper Artur Boruc has been included, along with club team-mate Maciej Zurawski and Southampton striker Grzegorz Rasiak. Poland meet Kazakhstan on October 7 and Portugal on October 11.

Squad in full:

Wojciech Kowalewski (Spartak Moscow), Artur Boruc (Celtic), Mariusz Pawelek (Wisla Krakow); Mariusz Jop (FK Moscow), Jacek Bak (Al-Rayyan), Pawel Golanski (Kolporter Kielce), Gregorz Bronowicki (Legia Warsaw) Arkadiusz Glowacki (Wisla Krakow); Mariusz Lewandowski (Shakhtar Donetsk), Radoslaw Sobolewski (Wisla Krakow), Arkadiusz Radomski (Austria Vienna), Euzebiusz Smolarek (Borussia Dortmund), Jacek Krzynowek (VfL Wolfsburg), Jakub Blaszczykowski (Wisla Krakow), Lukasz Gargula (GKS Belchatow), Przemyslaw Kazmierczak (Boavista), Rafal Grzelak (Boavista); Ireneusz Jelen (AJ Auxerre), Tomasz Frankowski (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Maciej Zurawski (Celtic), Radoslaw Matusiak (GKS Belchatow), Grzegorz Rasiak (Southampton)

We call your attention for the call of the two Polish football players from Boavista : Grzelack and Kazmierczak.
