Uefa Euro 2008 - Qualifying Competition Draw

The results of the draw for Euro 2008 Qualifying was the following:

Group A : Portugal/Poland/Serbia and Montenegro/ Belgium / Finland / Armenia/ Azerbaijan/ Kasakhstan

Group B : France / Italy/ Ukraine / Scotland / Lithuania/ Georgia / Faroe Islands

Group C : Greece / Turkey / Norway / Bosnia-Herzegobvina / Hungary/ Moldoca / Malta

Group D : Czech Republic / Germany /Slovakia / Republic of Ireland / Wales /Cyprus / San Marino

Group E: England / Croatia / Russia /Israel / Estonia/ Macedonia / Andorra

Group F: Sweden / Spain / Denmark / Latvia / Iceland/ Northern Ireland / Liechtentein

Group G : Netherlands / Romania /Bulgaria / Slovenia / Albania / Belarus / Luxembourg

Portugal belongs to the group with more teams (eight) and have to fight with Poland, Serbia and Montenegro and Belgium for two places. AlsoFinland with their physic style won't be easy. Last match Finland won in Portugal for 4-1.

In Group B France and Italy are favourites.

In Group C Greece, Turkey and Norway, certainly two of these three will be qualified.

Very interesting the draw for the Group D with the "couples" Czech Republic /Slovakia and Republic of Ireland/Wales. Like goup A this will be a hard group.

In Group E, I think England, Croatia and Russia will decide the qualification

Group F is also a group very equalised with several Northern countries

Group G looks easy to vaticine the qualifications of Netherland and Romania
