Sporting é campeão de Juniores

BENFICA 1 - 4 SPORTING

O Sporting bateu claramente o Benfica e sagrou-se campeão nacional de juniores pela 11ª. vez, "vingando-se" da derrota na Superliga e do Futsal. Pois é o Benfica tinha a vantagem de poder empatar, mas nem sempre essa vantagem resulta, como os sportinguistas sabem por experiencia própria. Foi a única derrota dos encarnados na fase final da prova mas valeu o campeonato. Parabéns aos jovens "leões".

Futsal - Benfica é campeão

após prolongamento

O Benfica sagrou-se Campeão Nacional de Futsal, juntando este título à Taça de Portugal que também já havia conquistado esta época.

André Lima figura do jogo com cinco golos sagrou-se o melhor marcador do campeonato


Os adeptos encarnados que encheram o Pavilhão da Luz só no final da 1ª. parte do prolongamento é que puderam começar a fazer a festa já que até então fora sempre o Sporing que comandara o marcador. A cada golo do Sporting o Benfica respondia empatando e assim evoluiu o resultado até 2-2 ao intervalo e 3-3 no fim dos quarenta minutos. O Benfica teve mais posse de bola, mais remates mas o Sporting defendendo bem era no ataque mais objectivo com algumas desmarcações nas costas da defesa rival.

No prolongamento o Sporting por Miguel Fernandes avançou de novo no marcador mas e aí esteve o mérito dos encarnados o Benfica não esmoreceu e fez o 4-4 por André Lima. Este golo veio a revestir-se decisivo, porquanto o Sporting sentiu-o em demasia cometeu em pouco tempo uma série de erros defensivos, o público fazia-se sentir e o 5-4 não surpreendeu, sendo obtido na marcação de um livre da esquerda a bola foi metida na zona central onde André Lima de pé esquerdo fuzilou João Benedito.

A opção do treinador do Sporting de na 2ª. parte do prolongamento de jogar com o guarda-redes avançado Paulinho ainda permitiu ao Sporting estar perto do 5-5, mas como se sabe essa opção é uma faca de dois gumes e o resultado acabou por desnivelar-se a favor do Benfica, com a agravante de que com mais dois golos de André Lima este ter arrebatado o título de melhor marcador do campeonato que sem estes dois golos teria pertencido ao avançado do Sporting (então guarda-redes) Paulinho!

A arbitragem teve algumas falhas mas no conjunto global não há motivos para queixas.
