Em jogo que completou a nona Jornada da Liga portuguesa o Sporting de Braga não desaproveitou a oportunidade concedida pelos "empatas" dos grandes e aumentou a margem da liderança para cinco pontos.

O Braga chegou relativamente cedo à vantagem. Aos quinze minutos um livre de Jaime da meia-esquerda cruzado para área permitiu que João Tomás ao 2º. poste sem marcação aparecesse a fuzilar de cabeça inaugurando o marcador. Ainda os ecos do golo não se tinham cessado e João Tomás dá uma assistencia de "morte" que Deivid por duas vezes falhou. na primeira a permitir a defesa de Marco Aurélio e na recarga a atirar por cima.

E em termos de oportunidades o jogo praticamente acabou. O Belenenses não se conformou com a desvantagem e procurou atacar. Para isso Couceiro fez entrar ao intervalo Romeu. O Belenenses até teve periodos de maior posse de bola mas sempre em zonas muito recuadas, sempre que pretendia a aproximação da área bracarense a boa organização dos locais evitava situações de perigo. O resultado estava feito - mais uma vitória por um zero comentava um benfiquista - quando um jogador belenense - Sandro - quiz contrariá-lo e fez um golo na própria baliza em jogada que parecia inofensiva.

Vitória da equipa mais pragmática em jogo "fraquinho" que teve boa actuação do árbitro Nuno Almeida. No entanto, ficaram amarelos por mostrar a Cesinha (simulou um penalty aos 73' ) e a Andrés Madrid que seria o segundo aos 89' (cortou em falta uma tentativa de contra-ataque belenense).

Na próxima jornada o Braga vai à Madeira jogar com o Marítimo em jogo que representa um bom teste à candidatura ao título da equipa de Braga.

A Saúde em Portugal e a suposta proibição de aumentar a produção

Por motivos académicos e profissionais cedo tive que saber o que é a Economia. Sem entrar em discussão sobre a definição mais adequada sigo aqui a de Lionel Robbins segundo o qual a economia lidaria com o comportamento humano enquanto condicionado pela escassez dos recursos: a economia trata da relação entre fins e meios (escassos) disponíveis para atingi-los. Deste modo, o foco da ciência económica consistiria em estudar os fluxos e meios da alocação de recursos para atingir determinado fim, qualquer que seja a natureza deste último.

Vem isto a propósito de que o Ministro da Saúde com preocupações sobre o Orçamento terá determinado que os hospitais estão proibidos de aumentar a produção. Foi este um dos temas da crónica de hoje "Na Ordem do Dia - TSF - Dr. Pedro Nunes"

Pois bem o Ministro da Saúde não é economista e porventura desconhece o significado de "Economia".

Mas o objectivo está traçado : proibido aumentar a produção. Em vez de se preocupar em fixar os meios e tomar ou incentivar medidas que procurem deles extrair a melhor produção possível, isto é incentivando a produtividade, começou antes por limitar o "output" : "proibido aumentar a produção".

Mais preocupante ainda do que o "chumbo" em Economia de que o Ministro receberia com tal medida, é a subalternidade do entendimento sobre a Saúde ímplicita nessa decisão. De facto não interessa que possa haver uma pandemia ou haja necessidade de mais consultas, de mais diagnósticos, de mais doentes, incremento de doenças velhas ou aparição de novas. Está proibido aumentar a produção.

Em altura em que ficou conhecido o aumento significativo das filas de espera para intervenções cirúrgicas finalmente está encontrada uma boa desculpa para todos os problemas da saúde. Os médicos já podem despachar os doentes com um incisivo : "Estou proibido de aumentar a produção, vá queixar-se ao Ministro".

Entretanto ou concomitantemente aumentam os impostos. Não é este o país que queremos ...

Sporting empatou no Bessa mas esteve a ganhar por 2-0

Jogo vibrante com empate... para não destoar entre os grandes

O Boavista comandava o jogo depois de dez minutos iniciais de equilíbrio e disfrutava de oportunidades com Ricardo a fazer uma grande defesa a remate de Fary (a responder a cruzamento da direita de João Pinto) aos 16' e logo a seguir de novo Fary, também em resposta a cruzamento da direita, a rematar ao lado, quando num ápice o Sporting apareceu a ganhar por 2-0.

Nani parte ainda do meio campo defensivo com a bola passa pelo meio de dois adversários e já perto da área decide rematar com a bola a passar por entre as pernas (e ainda desviada por estas) de um adversário só parando no fundo da baliza de Carlos. Passados 2' contra-ataque do Sporting com remate de Liedson à malha lateral, mas com o árbitro a assinalar canto. No canto, Beto ganha de cabeça (em aparente falta sobre um defesa ) e Liedson em posição frontal perto da linha de baliza a concretizar o segundo golo.

O Boavista ainda não acreditava e passou por uma fase de menor acerto, mas percebia-se que ninguém dava o jogo como resolvido ao intervalo.

Muito menos o treinador do Boavista que já fizera entrar William Sousa ainda na primeira parte e que ao intervalo fez entrar Zé Manuel que teve um papel importante no jogo. Logo no primeiro minuto da 2ª. parte o Boavista reduzia por João Pinto de cabeça após cruzamento de José Manuel. Os boavisteiros corriam (e de que maneira...) enquanto os "leões" procuravam preservar a vantagem mas sem ter a bola para jogar dada a superioridade do meio-campo boavisteiro. Não espantou assim o empate aos 55' : João Manuel junto à quina da área do lado esquerdo do ataque leva a melhor perante dois adversários e remata forte para uma defesa vistosa (mas incompleta) só com uma mão de Ricardo, com a bola a sobrar para William Sousa à vontade restabelecer a igualdade.

A questão era saber se com o empate estabelecido o rumo do jogo ia manter-se. A verdade é que o Boavista teve sempre mais iniciativa mas o Sporting agora aparecia mais distendido no campo. O golo podia assim aparecer em qualquer baliza mas acabou por não acontecer de novo.

Assistimos a um bom espectáculo, à inglesa, com bom ritmo, golos e resultado incerto até final

Em jogo que não foi fácil de dirigir o árbitro João Ferreira "safou-se" mas o 2º. golo sportinguista pareceu-nos precedida de falta de Beto.

Comentário: Os chamados três grandes invariavelmente empataram, para agrado do Sp. Braga(*) que amanhã pode aumentar a sua vantagem na liderança para 5 pontos caso vença o Belenenses, agora com novo treinador.

A União de Leiria já vai no 3º triunfo consecutivo. Também o Marítimo não conhece a derrota desde a mudança de comando técnico ( 1 vitória e 3 empates) obtendo um empate em Vila do Conde em jogo em que esteve a ganhar e a perder. Destaque para o primeiro triunfo no campeonato do Penafiel frente à Académica a seguir à escandalosa derrota por 0-4 para a Taça de Portugal frente ao Lixa do escalão secundário.

O Vitória de Guimarães foi em casa surpreendido pelo Paços de Ferreira que está a um ponto do 5º. lugar! - e teima em permanecer nos lugares de descida.

Benfica empata com a Naval na Figueira da Foz

Com Fogaça e sem Simão não deu para mais ...

Muito palavreado antes do jogo a aumentar a pressão e um campo pesado com muita chuva permitia adivinhar que ia ser um jogo não bem jogado mas intenso. Com Simão em fase de recuperação e poupado para o jogo da Liga dos Campeões e sem Geovanni que esteve no Brasil e não treinou durante a semana Koeman colocou Leo a médio ala esquerdo e João Pereira a médio ala direito.

Durante a primeira parte não ocorreram grandes oportunidades e a Naval disputou o jogo em campo todo ainda que tenha sido o Benfica com mais iniciativa como era de esperar.

No 2º. tempo as equipas apareceram mais vivas a jogar com mais velocidade com o Benfica agora a superiorizar-se de modo mais evidente mas sem marcar apesar dos livres e cantos que ganhava agora com mais frequência. A Naval mexe primeiro na equipa e já com duas substuituições operadas foi a vez de Koeman arriscar mais. Entraram Mantorras e Nuno Assis para os lugares de Karyaka (que fez um bom jogo) e Ricardo Rocha, recuando Leo para defesa esquerdo.

Num lance de contra-ataque a bola foi endossada por Glauber para a direita para Bruno Fogaça (ligeiramente adiantado em posição de fora de jogo) que dominou com o pé direito e rematou com o esquerdo para a baliza de Rui Nereu, inaugurando o marcador aos 72'.

O Benfica que estava em posição de ultrapassar o Porto na classificação corria agora o risco de ficar ainda mais atrasado. Atirou-se para o ataque, a Naval já com as três substituições operadas (China tivera que sair para a entrada de Aurélio ainda antes do golo) já só defendia mas no Benfica quem podia meter golos? Só Nuno Gomes. E quem faz as assistencias? Nélson. Mais uma vez assim aconteceu. Nelson pela direita faz o túnel a Nelson Veiga e assiste Nuno Gomes para rematar rasteiro para o lado direito da baliza estabelecendo o empate aos 80'.

Ainda havia tempo para a vitória ... o Benfica atacava ... os amarelos surgiam (Aurélio, Glauber, Rui Miguel...) , um fora de jogo escandalosamente tirado a Mantorras ... apenas quatro minutos de desconto (com quase um perdido pelo próprio árbitro ao ir repreender o banco da Naval) e o empate consumado.

Porto volta a não sofrer golos .. mas também não marcou

Crise ? Grande atitude dos profissionais do Vitória

Entrada no jogo muito forte do Porto, domínio absoluto no primeiro quarto de hora com o Vitória de Setúbal a não sair de perto da área defensiva. Logo no primeiro minuto Moretto teve de se aplicar para evitar o golo depois de uma má reposição de bola dele próprio. Vários cantos, mas a defensiva setubalense afastava o perigo.

Por volta dos 25' o Setúbal consegue um canto e na sequencia seguem-se outros igualando o score para 4-4.

O Porto com Quaresma muito activo pela esquerda dominava (69 - 31%) em tempo de posse de bola, mas não marcava apesar de ter voltado a estar perto disso. Cruzamento da meia-direita para a área e Lucho de cabeça a finalizar mas Moretto com o corpo defende.

Na segunda parte o filme do jogo não se alterou muito. Co Adriaanse mexe na equipa, primeiro Ivanildo para o lugar de Alan, depois McCarthu para o lugar de Jorginho. Agora com dois pontas de lança joga mais directo mas os centrais do Setúbal estavam inexcedíveis. Com as substituições no Vitória - entradas de Pedro Oliveira e Pedro Ribeiro para sairem Tchomogo e Adalto - o Vitória ganha mais força e consegue finalmente articular algumas jogadas, mas o jogo era de sentido único.

Nem a última jogada do banco - saída de Pedro Emanuel para entrar Rui Meireles - permitiu ao Porto averbar o triunfo que merecia mas que o Setúbal não permitiu.

Atitude inexcedível dois sadinos que demonstravam mais uma vez que o dinheiro não é tudo. Aopoesar da crise financeira com salarios em atraso os sadinos deram uma demonstração de grande profissionalismo

Uma agradável surpresa a arbitragem de António Resende. Muito boa, sem exibicionismo mostrou os amarelos apenas justificados, num jogo em que os jogadores demonstraram grande desportivismo.
