Dec. 3 - International Day of Disable Persons

International Day of Disabled Persons is an annual event to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of people with disabilities.

The theme for 2006 is E-Accessibility . The need for improved accessibility by persons with disabilities to the Internet and other information technologies will be the focus of the United Nations International Day of Disabled Persons.
