Porto não aproveita e empata com o Rio Ave

Em noite gelada ... um pontinho não aqueceu.

O Porto tinha a grande oportunidade de repôr a vantagem de seis pontos na liderança, mas em noite de muito frio o seu futebol não chegou a aquecer.

É certo que teve sempre o controlo do jogo, disfrutou em exclusivo das oportunidades de golo (poucas) do jogo mas em termos de eficácia o resultado diz tudo.

Só aos 80' o golo esteve iminente quando na sequência de um pontapé de canto Mora quase em cima da linha defendeu e no minuto seguinte um desiquilibrio de Ivanildo pela esquerda com cruzamento para Alan com tempo para tudo atirar por cima.

Livres, quase sempre mal marcados, cantos... mas golos ... nada e futebol pouco.

O Rio Ave que na primeira parte ainda procurou jogar ... à medida que o tempo passava ia recuando ... recuando... e conseguiu o seu objectivo.

O árbitro Duarte Gomes só mostrou amarelos a jogadores do Rio Ave - e que faltou fazer Quaresma para ser contemplado com um ? - e nos poucos lances de ataque do Rio Ave as decisões do juiz assistente foram sempre para o lado do Porto. Numa delas José Gomes isolava-se pela direira e noutra em que a bola acabou no fundo da baliza do Porto achou que a bola já tinha saído. Caricata foi a substituição pedida para a entrada de Idalécio (já em tempo de desconto) e em que houve três ou quatro interrupções intercalares até que o árbitro a permitisse.

Comentários: Nesta jornada o Benfica surpreendeu pela negativa, não tanto pela derrota, resultado sempre normal num derby, mas pela incapacidade demonstrada. No entanto, o Porto desperdiçou a oportunidade em Vila do Conde para alargar a vantagem para uma margem confortável ao ceder um nulo frio como o tempo. Deste modo o Sporting ainda sonha e Nacional e Braga vencedores dos jogos caseiros voltam a aproximar-se do topo, sendo que na próxima jornada ainda que jogando fora podem fazer história se derrotarem Sporting e Porto, respectivamente. O Boavista no arranque da jornada foi ganhar ao Paços de Ferreira e nos restantes jogos tivemos vitórias caseiras. Então o Belenenses não se limitou a ganhar mas a golear com cinco pastéis de nata (leia-se golos) o último classificado Penafiel.

Na próxima semana temos grandes jogos: Para o topo da classificação o Porto joga com o Braga e o Sporting recebe o Nacional, enquanto o Benfica vai a Leiria defrontar a União. Cá em baixo na tabela o Guimarães recebe o Belenenses e a Académica defronta o Paços de Ferreira.
