$60,502,500 - Cezanne's painting -

On May 10, 1999, Sotheby's made an auction from the collection of Mr. and Mrs. John Hay Whitney. Lot 23 is Still Life by Paul Cezanne. This painting fetched $60,502,500, selling to unidentified telephone bidder. This price was the fourth highest ever for a painting sold at auction.

I don't know if it paid TVA! But i would like to have had a little comission.
